Our young colleague, Dragana Jovic has been awarded Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship. The prestigious postdoctoral position was awarded to her for the project "Anderson localization and surface solitons in optically induced photonic lattices". Her host during the research stay in Germany will be Prof. Dr. Cornelia Denz, Institut für Angewandte Physik, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship is extremely prestigious, and will open a lot of doors for her further career and will give her more freedom and extra dimension. This award is not only a personal recognition, but also represents the success of the Institute of Physics Belgrade as a whole, particularly of her supervisor Dr. Milivoj Belic, and his group.
